About Lane Kawaoka
Lane Kawaoka was a licensed professional civil and industrial engineer. In 2009, Lane began investing in real estate in Seattle. After discovering the difference between cashflow investing and appreciation investing (gambling/speculating), he moved his portfolio into 11 single-family rentals in Birmingham, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Pennsylvania.
Today, Lane is investing in Class B & C multi-family apartments, RV parks, mobile homes. He also assisted living facilities because of the country’s demand for affordable housing. Lane figured passive income from investing in stable rental properties would make it possible for him to move back home to Hawaii.
